About the paper:

Scope: We surveyed cockle populations and cohabiting bivalve species along the western coast of France and the southern coast of Portugal, diagnosing haemic neoplasia through haemolymph cytology and analysing morphometric traits to assess disease prevalence, spatial distribution, and potential cross-species transmission. My contribution: I am a corresponding and first-author because I designed the project as part of my MSCA-funded fellowship in France, I supervised the students that performed fieldwork in France, I collected and processed all the samples from Portugal, I performed the statistical analyses, I prepared figures and I drafted the article.
